Can You See Clearly Now?

>> Friday, March 25, 2011

Wouldn't it be great if you could save as much as you can on any item that you buy? I have always known that products that are nicely displayed in shops are priced higher than those that are being sold directly. But of course, buying direct and buying from local shops have their own benefits and disadvantages. What if you buy eyeglasses then? Would you rather buy them from a local optical shop or buy them online?

For all of you who are using eyeglasses and are considering on buying your next pair, then I would recommend Zenni Optical. You must have been hearing a lot about this online store that sells prescription glasses at a very cheap price. Would you believe the cheapest pair would cost you only $6.95? You better!

How can you get your eyeglasses for cheap? All you need to do is an updated prescription from your optometrist and your PD or pupillary distance if you want to order prescription glasses from Zenni Optical. You can also order eyeglasses without a prescription just because you want to include it in your wardrobe. If I were you, I would order multiple pairs at once because the shipping fee is only $4.95, regardless of how many pairs you order at one time. With about 5,000 frames of different colors, size and frames to choose from, you can choose a pair that will suit every mood and occasion. If you don't believe what I am talking about, you might as well check the article and video here.

I want to say this again, Zenni Optical is your smart choice when it comes to eyeglasses. Now, let me upload my own photo and try on some of the frames. I want to order a few pairs even if my opthalmologist has said that my eyes are fine. Just because. :D

84 Days To Go...

>> Friday, October 1, 2010

I can't believe it's already October! Time really flies so fast, especially if you have so many things to do in too short a time. The clock is ticking and soon, it will be Christmas Days.

I still have yet to write down my Christmas shopping list, and I know that I have to work fast and hard if I want to complete buying all of them. Aside from that, I also need to send Christmas cards to our friends from around the world. Last Christmas, I failed to send them so I pledged to send them one this year. And I just know the perfect online store that sells Christmas Cards. Planning on buying one too? Then do click here.

I also have two balikbayan boxes to fill, and I know that it would take time to fill them up. I am running out of ideas on what to put inside. I know I can always place chocolates and food items that are not available in the Philippines. But I also want to send each one of them something special. My nephew has been talking endlessly about Optimus Prime so I already know what he wants. The rest of the family, I actually don't have any clue. Perhaps I can buy cosmetics and perfumes for the girls and perhaps shoes for the boys. I don't know...

Oh well, I just hope I get to finish my Christmas shopping before the Christmas rush.

Shirts Never Go Out Of Style

>> Tuesday, August 17, 2010

If there is one thing that never goes out of style, that would have to be shirts. Originally worn as undershirts in the 1800's, they eventually became popular as fashionable, casual, standalone, outer-wear garments after the 2nd World War and after Marlon Brando wore one in the movie A Streetcar Named Desire. In the 1980s, t-shirts were becoming more of a form of self expression. To this day, custom tshirt is one of the flourishing markets in the garment industry.

From the plain white tshirt, we now have a myriad of colors, designs, and prints. So whoever you may be, there is surely a shirt that will suit your personality. There are sports tshirts for the sports minded, Death By Tshirt for some retro shirts and other great custom made designs for those who love to express themselves.

So if you want to get your message across or want to have a marketing campaign, a tshirt will just help do the trick. The good old tshirt has been used to achieve the goal of getting people to buy a product, attend an event or even vote a president. Oh yes, the t-shirt has come a long, long way and it is without a doubt, going to stay in the years to come.

Optimizing Online Shopping

>> Tuesday, June 22, 2010

Have you ever kicked yourself when you are on the last leg of making an online purchase (be it for flowers, a flight, a designer garment, or tickets to a show) and the option to enter a coupon code appears? It is often too late and you realize that you've missed the chance to save some cash.

The question sometimes arises: does any item actually have a price? Or is the price always variable? It seems that in most cases, discounts of varying sizes are available for those who know where to look.

Online discount coupon sites unite whole rafts of retailers, making coupon codes easily obtainable on the specific brands or products that the individual customer tends to prefer. Personal preferences can be recorded and a tailored selection of discounts regularly offered.

Referring others is a tried and tested method of gaining a discount for oneself. When catalogues - literally heavyweight paper compendia of goods for sale - were the principal mail order vehicle, those who became agents were rewarded with discounts on their own catalogue shopping. Not surprisingly, all of the big-name catalogues have gone online, cutting off that particular earnings stream. However, online retailers do value loyalty, and this appreciation generally translates into dollars.

In order to avoid being bombarded with too many offers - many of which are of no personal relevance - wise shoppers can sign up to sites that specialize in just one type of merchandise. It may be beauty products, computer accessories or tickets to events, to name just a few possibilities. Online shopping is on balance a safer bet than 'live' shopping in stores. You are less likely to find discounts with impulse shopping, as a greater amount of thought and price comparing can be invested into the process of shopping online. And then, of course, there is the availability of all those promotional offers. The message is: don't purchase until you have checked out all the discount possibilities.
